Dr. Carter met her husband, Dr. R.T. Carter, during their first year of dental school. They enjoyed Richmond so much that they moved back after Dr. Carter finished her residency in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Carter worked as an associate at Children’s Dentistry of Richmond for a number of years while her husband, a general dentist, works at a practice nearby. Dr. Carter has three children, Thomas, Carson and Sara, who keep her hopping from one activity to another. When she is not chauffeuring her children around and cheering at children’s sports events, she enjoys reading, cooking and spending quality time with family and friends.
