  • Our Treatments

  • The American Association of Pediatric Dentistry recommends that children should visit their dentist every six months for a routine checkup and cleaning. This allows for early diagnosis of any problems so that they are easier and less expensive to address. During the exam, your child’s pediatric dentist will carefully check the health and development of your child’s teeth

  • Welcome to RVA Children's Dentistry

RVA Children’s Dentistry will provide services to infants, children, adolescents and individuals with special healthcare needs. We will treat each child and their family with respect in a happy, welcoming, environment.

We will strive to create a partnership between the dental team, the child and the family in order to encourage optimal oral health for each and every child we treat. Through the administration of compassionate, safe, high-quality dental care, it is our goal to make a positive impact on the lives of the children

  • Your Child's First Visit

During your child's first visit, we'll ask you to fill out a medical history form, which is vital in developing their treatment plan. Next, we'll examine your child's teeth, gums and oral tissues. We will take x-rays if needed and examine their bite. Later, using our findings from the exam, we will determine a treatment plan and go over it together.

If you have any questions about our practice, please call us anytime (804)729-8081. We welcome your family to the practice and look forward to meeting soon.

    Sincerely,
    Dr. Carter and Staff
