About Us
Dr. Sobia Carter, DDS
Dr. Sobia Carter is a board-certified pediatric dentist who strives to create a positive dental experience for every child she treats. A Virginia native, Dr. Carter attended the University of Virginia as an Echols Scholar before earning her DDS at Virginia Commonwealth University in 2001.
Dr. Carter's passion for children's dental health led her to complete a fellowship at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and a residency at Rainbow Babies and Children's Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio, where she earned her specialty Certificate in Pediatric Dentistry from Case Western Reserve University in 2004.
Her specialty training gave her extensive experience in all aspects of pediatric dentistry with a particular emphasis on sedation dentistry and dental care under general anesthesia.
